Grammage

Paper with high grammage usually feels thicker. We recommend 70g paper for daily office use and 80g paper for high-end business applications including reports and important documents.

Whiteness

Fluorescent brightener enhances whiteness and is harmless to health. However, increased whiteness may strain the eyes. HP paper provides two variants: Hi and Pure White to satisfy different uses.

Thickness

Improper thickness may affect smooth paper travelling and cause paper jam. Lab testing of over ten thousand paper printing proves the proper thickness of HP paper helps guarantee a stable paper travelling in the printer.

Smoothness

Coarse paper surface may affect imaging quality, and too glossy surface may result in paper feed failure. Double-faced HP paper provides the same good smoothness that helps improve printing quality.

Raw materials

The use of fillers in the process of paper-making helps improve smoothness and whiteness. HP paper uses 100% pure wood pulp uniformly filled with even grains, quite different from the low-quality ground calcium carbonate fillers. HP paper fillers resist peeling off and help protect machine parts, ensuring long lifecycles.

ECF

The use of hypochlorite to bleach wood pulp may produce harmful compounds as a result of hypochlorite reacting with organic matters in the pulp. Thanks to Elemental Chlorine Free (called ECF for short) technology used, HP paper contains no harmful substances and contributes to green, sustainable development.
